The first national key labs

Since last year there were 48 recalled cases taken place on Chinese shoe export to EU countries, they are mainly because of designing defects and over containing of restricted chemicals. Therefore State General Administration for Quality Supervision has approved to establish 6 national key labs in Chengdu city, the first one for shoe export will be completed within this year.

  General speaking, standards in Chinese footwear testing are still lacking behind western countries, State General Administration for Quality Supervision hopes the establishment of six key labs in Chengdu City will improve quality of export shoe and boost local export growth.
