For boosting and accelerating development of shoemaking machinery sector in Yancheng City, the city has established strategic relationship with many scientific and technical departments and institutes at home and abroad including Ministry of Science and Technology, Provincial Science and Technology Agency, Southeast China University, Nanjing University as well as the institutes and universities in America, Britain, Germany, Italy and so on, 120 shoemaking machinery factories in Yancheng City involved in the cooperation program.
So far this year Yancheng shoemaking machinery sector has conducted 28 research projects, 6 national new product designing and 8 provincial technical development projects. Furthermore the sector extended its business to the fields of auto motor, apparel package, luggage and stationery, which has greatly improved the local economic development and competitive power. For instance the key research project of adhesive composite machine undertaken by Jiangsu Hongye Machinery Co brought a huge demand while it put into market, and the sale value is expected to amount to RMB 100 million yuan this year.
