Mary Janes
Once upon a time, Mary Jane shoes were shoes for children. That was a long time ago, and Mary Jane has since grown up!
From Mary Jane flats to high heels, Mary Jane shoes appeal to the girl in all of us.
This winter they team up beautifully with the 1940's glamour theme - clinched waists and strong shoulders.
See them on the catwalk worn with tights and even ribbed socks for an unexpected pairing!

Court shoes hold court
Round toed or pointed, peep toed or closed, detailed or plain, it's official, court shoes are hot!
They work back beautifully with new season dresses, tailored suits and military looks.
When worn with jeans, court shoes give a casual look instant chic..
And give the new season man-look (below right) an elegant spin.
Platforms are also a key trend this winter, so stay tuned to the "What's new" page on our website. Platforms arriving soon at Shoe Show!

Short boots rule
Make a fashion statement this winter in ankle boots and booties. Fabulous with any kind of long pants, they give you ankle coverage without the bulk of a knee-high boot.
If your figure can carry it off.. try wearing ankle boots with full or knee high tights/leggings and a short dress/skirt (see right). Or team up with an oversized coat or trench tied at the waist, for a chic and fashionable look (see pic below right).
As far as what style of ankle boots you should get - suede, stiletto, fringed, buckled, wedged – that's completely up to you!

Ballerina casual chic
Ballet flats never go out of style and this winter is no exception. Black, tan and metallics are key colours.
Buckles, bows, fabrics, rouching, cut outs, embroidery, quilting and pleats add interest and texture to this comfy wardrobe staple.

A winter must have
Long boots can make chunky calves appear slimmer and cover lower leg flaws, keep your legs warm and look incredibly chic.
In short, they're extremely flattering, versatile and incredibly stylish!
When worn with longer skirts and dresses, knee high boots have a romantic and feminine effect, and when paired with knee-length, shorter skirts or even shorts, they're decidedly sexy and sophisticated (see right).
Look for belts, pockets, zips, laces, ties, knits, wraps and other strappy things wrapped around your boots, they're hot!
And you can find them on everything from flat urban styles, to high heeled stunners.
New season colours include khaki, black, tan, light beige, cognac, bronze, pewter, grey and chocolate.

Evening glamour
As the weather gets colder, sandals make way for peep and closed toes for special occasions.
Satin is a popular choice this autumn/winter. Colours of choice include black, latte, dark purple and charcoal. And don't go past black patent and suede for a chic and sophisticated finish. And of course metallics team back beautifully with all colours.
New season evening shoes are embellished with bows, jewels and buckles. Heights vary from sweet kitten heels to sky high stilettos.
